How it is calculated
Working days = inclusive days − weekly offs − public holidays
Both the start and end dates are counted, which matches how project schedules and notice periods are usually read.
Worked example
1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026 with Saturday and Sunday off contains 21 working days. Subtract 1 public holiday and 20 remain.
Questions people ask
They can be, because the calculator cannot see your holiday dates. Only count holidays that fall on a working day.
Yes, both ends are included. If your notice period starts the day after you resign, use the following day as the start date.
